Cobus did a fantastic job revitalizing my old 8mm06 Mauser. He advised me that the new ali scope mounts I sent him with the barrel & action were not suitable due to the calibre & recoil. Instead he made up and fitted new steel mounts, added & lapped steel scope rings, then re-blued everything. It looks flasher than when I got it 49 years ago. GUN-TECHnz might be in Gore, and I'm in BOP, but this was never an issue. (Chris Fryer)

Cobus has done a lot of very high quality work on my 458 Lott (heavy Safari backup rifle) which was out of balance. After excellent workmanship the rifle now balances very well, and most importantly functions flawlessly. Cobus advised me that the reason for inconsistent performance on my Perazzi MX2008 was the imperfect fit of the stock. Being an excellent stock maker be measured me and the stock, put more drop on, changed the pitch, bent the stock for more cast off & re-shaped the fore end. Now that the stock is custom-fit, the Olympic Trench is an enjoyable event. (Paul Clinton - afrikasafaris.co.nz)
